Low Income and elderly residents of the towns of :
West Greenwich, Exeter, Richmond, Charlestown, Hopkinton, Westerly, Narragansett, North Kingstown and South Kingstown
Elderly is defined as anyone 62 years of age or older
Low income is defined as the following, subject to change yearly;
1 person household - income not to exceed $45,850.00
2 person household - income not to exceed $52,400.00
3 person household - income not to exceed $58,950.00
4 person household - income not to exceed $65,500.00
5 person household - income not to exceed $70,7500.00
The Towns of Westerly and Hopkinton have slightly higher income limits
North Kingstown, Exeter, West Greenwich and Hopkinton
The Towns of North Kingstown, Exeter, West Greenwich and Hopkinton utilizes funding from HUD to offer low interest
Home Repair loans to its low income and elderly homeowners. Interest will range from 0 to 3%, depending on income.
These loans are intended to ensure folks remain in their homes by performing reasonable and necessary repairs. We focus on code violations, health and safety issues, and any other repairs needed to maintain a healthy safe and sanitary dwelling.
WC CDC manages this program for these towns.




Richmond, Charlestown, South Kingstown, Narragansett and Westerly
The Towns of Richmond, Charlestown, South Kingstown and Westerly utilizes funding from HUD to offer Home Repair Grants to its low income and elderly homeowners.
These grants are intended to ensure folks remain in their homes by performing reasonable and necessary repairs. We focus on code violations, health and safety issues, and any other repairs needed to maintain a healthy safe and sanitary dwelling. WC CDC manages this program for these towns.
